Terms of Use

Last updated November 3, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Old Creek Brewing LLC dba ToolHop ("Toolhop"), Parkville, Missouri, for use of the Toolhop app and gettoolhop.com. By using Toolhop you agree to them.

What Toolhop is

Toolhop helps neighbors find, list, and borrow tools and gear from each other. Toolhop is a connection service only. We don't own, inspect, or rent any items, and we aren't a party to any arrangement between users.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be 18 or older and live in the neighborhood you join. Give accurate information, keep your login secure, and you're responsible for activity on your account.

Subscription

Browsing and listing are free. Borrowing features require Toolhop Pro: your first month is free, then $2.99 per month, billed through your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Borrowing and lending

Borrowers and lenders arrange pickups, returns, deposits, and any fees between themselves. Toolhop doesn't process payments between users and isn't responsible for the condition, safety, or legality of items, or for damage, loss, theft, or injury. Inspect items before use, use them safely, and return them on time and in the same condition.

Your content and conduct

You own what you post, and you give Toolhop permission to display it in the app to operate the service. Don't post anything illegal, misleading, or offensive, list items you don't own, harass others, or misuse the app. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Disclaimers and liability

Toolhop is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Toolhop is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for disputes between users, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Ending use

You can stop using Toolhop and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.

Apple

These terms are between you and Toolhop, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for the app or its content, and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
